DESCRIPTION:The yearly unique phenomenon is back! Join us at Pantai Tanjung Rhu to enjoy the breath-taking view of the sea being “parted” away by an annual low tide phenomenon at the coastline. \nThe unique phenomenon only happens once a year from 6.30am for just an hour. This year the sea level is expected to drop at 0.1m and visitors have opportunity to see various marine species at close range while walking along the sandbar. \nCome and walk with us to the island (Pulau Kelam Baya) in front of the beach (about 600 meters) and next to Pulau Kelam Baya is Pulau Cabang.

This spectacular performance will run for 1 hour and 15 minutes. \nThe event serves to strengthen the bond between national literature and the illustrious history of Malay civilization. Additionally\, it aims to raise awareness and instill a sense of appreciation among the community for safeguarding our national treasures. DESCRIPTION:Walkabout Asia held their first international documentary film festival. \nKnown as Walk The Doc International Documentary Festival\, this three day event at Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang\, Malaysia gathered documentary filmmakers and enthusiasts alike to learn and share all things documentary. \nThe festival theme is Nature\, Environment and Travel\, aiming to seek out films that document interesting events\, amazing people and intriguing things that address the beauty of our planet and how we care or should care about it. \nThe Festival begin with a documentary competition and received an encouraging 77 entries from 15 countries. Close to 120 people attended this maiden event\, participating in forums and workshops by international speakers flown specially to Langkawi for this festival.
