LADA volunteers comprising of the department\u2019s very own staff have been tirelessly assisting Langkawi District Health Office (PKD) and Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) in running the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme at Vaccination Centre (PPV) here in Langkawi Sports Complex (KSL) Badminton Hall.<\/p>\n

This scenario therefore reflects the government\u2019s intense effort in curbing the outbreak of this pandemic, which has profoundly affected the once healthy and normal lifestyle of every Malaysian citizen.<\/p>\n

Throughout this vaccination period, the role of LADA volunteers is more focused on helping Langkawi community particularly senior citizens. LADA volunteers have been handling transportation for vaccine receivers who encounter difficulties in attending their respective vaccination sessions at the PPV. The group has also been helping with other matters during the vaccination process by Langkawi PKD. <\/p>\n

May all these effort help alleviate the burdens shouldered by Langkawi community, therefore consequently contributing towards the success of herd immunity achievement in Langkawi, somewhere in the near future.<\/p>\n
