Langkawi Development Authority in collaboration with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has held a Keluarga Malaysia Sale Programme @De-Dagang (Lazada & Instantestore) and a Tik Tok Shop Course located at the LADA Complex Auditorium. This programme involves the participation of 87 Langkawi entrepreneurs and was launched by YBrs Tuan Wan Kamarul Faisal bin Wan Kamardin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Planning and Development) of Langkawi Development Authority.

This programme was also conducted by three invited panel members, namely YM Raja Azlan Shah, Head of the Seller Incubation Department of LAZADA, Mr. Charles Tang, Founder & Chief Executive of InstanteStore and Puan Nur Azre bin Abd. Aziz, Strategic Partnerships & Offline Events Lead, Tik Tok Shop. This digital application platform has become one of the main marketing channels for brands and products nowadays. The Keluarga Malaysia Sale Programme @De-Dagang (Lazada & Instantestore) has helped entrepreneurs produce Malaysian-made goods and brands that have the potential to be marketed to the local market or exported. Moreover, tourism products can also be promoted using the digital platform.

This programme also offers online purchase discounts, managed by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) in collaboration with 17 selected e-commerce platforms from abroad and locally such as LAZADA, InstanteStore, Tik Tok Shop and others. Due to the rapid pace of technological advancement, today’s entrepreneurs must be adept at utilising technology to boost income.

It is hoped that the organisation of this programme will have a positive impact on the participants in designing a more appealing and effective digital marketing campaign to continue moving forward.
