Langkawi hosted the RC Jet Innovation Competition (Kedah and Perlis Open) Year 2022 held at the Langkawi Sports Complex.
The programme organised in collaboration with Langkawi District Education Office (PPD), Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), Langkawi Vocational College, and SK Langkawi aims to discover participants’ talents and skills in the field of aeromodelling and aircraft design.
A total of 4 categories are contested which are Langkawi Primary School, Langkawi Secondary School, Primary School Invitational, and Secondary School Invitational. The overall victor of the Langkawi Primary School category was SK Langkawi, while the Langkawi Secondary School category was won by Langkawi Vocational College.
A total of 44 schools competed and 50 percent of the participation was from schools outside of Langkawi.
