Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) together with National Corporation (PNS) and Langkawi Parliamentary Office had organised Karnival Usahawan & Biz-Francais Langkawi 2019. The carnival was held for two days on 28th and 29th September 2019 at Langkawi Pekan Rabu Complex.
The carnival aimed to provide exposure to entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs to approach franchise business opportunities along with the use of digital application in business operation. Besides that, this carnival also served as a platform to facilitate the operations of future businesses. Three segments were presented during this carnival, specifically local entrepreneur products sale, exhibition by agencies, and seminars for entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. Such efforts would positively impact Langkawi community in terms of improving the locals’ economy and standard of living. The opening ceremony of this carnival was officiated by YB Tuan Mohd Firdaus Bin Ahmad as the Chairman of Kedah State Communication and Multimedia Committee cum Langkawi Kuah State Legislative Assembly Representative (ADUN). The event is one of the community development programmes planned in LADA community programme calendar.
