Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy binti Shukri had launched the Malaysia Packages in collaboration with tourism agency Al Rais Dubai on 29th December 2021. Among the packages launched include Langkawi International Travel Bubble Tour Packages sold to international tourists. Also present during this ceremony were YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib, Chief Executive Officer of LADA and Encik Azmil Munif bin Mohd Bukhari representing LADA Tourism Division.
In addition, a batik-themed Malaysia Dinner was also organised with involvement of international media representatives and tour agents. In tandem with this ceremony, LADA also prepared lucky draw prizes for dinner guests to liven up the mood. Demonstrations on production of Langkawi batik and origami made from coconut leaves were also held during this occasion.
