Langkawi, 18th July 2023 – LADA has received a working visit from Penang Development Corporation (PDC), seeking to obtain insights into the management of Langkawi Development Authority’s (LADA) assets.
This two-day programme began with a site visit to LADA’s assets, starting with the Geopark Discovery Centre, one of the new tourist attractions in Langkawi. The delegation was then taken to tour around the Langkawi Sports Complex to see the sports facilities and services offered.
On the second day, the discussion session began with a briefing on the functions of the department delivered by Madam Nordiana Nordin, Manager of Corporate Service Unit, LADA. PDC was also provided with a briefing on the management of LADA’s assets and the direct procurement process of LADA, presented by representatives from the Human Resource and Management Services Division of LADA, Mr. Muhammad Khairi bin Azizan and Mr. Mohd Syafiq bin Md Lani.
This visit was led by Madam Suzana binti Hassan, Senior Manager, Financial Division, PDC.
